Wave Drifter
Isometric pirate ship game where you dodge and destroy the royal navy that is pursuing you!
Controls:
- Accelerate (move forwrd) - W
- Turn left/right - A or D
- Shoot - Spacebar
- Boost - Press shift when drift bar is full
- Ability - 1-3
Boost into enemies to ram them. Ramming them does damage.
Collect the purple orbs to level up. Levelling up grants you upgrades.

Not sure what's wrong, but I can't get graphics to work on Firefox/Chrome/Safari. Ocean/ships do not show after starting game.
Hi. I tried running the game on Firefox and Chrome and it worked on my machine. If it still doesn't work, we've uploaded a downloadable version of the game.
kinda fun to play, nice idea.
it's a shame that the game lag every now and then, probably because of the instantiate. you should use object pooling to reduce the lag.
I'd rather have stuffs shoot automatically and focus on the drifting. So you can use space as a break to make the ship drift instead. Anyways, your game your choice.
Thanks for the feedback. I spent the day optimising the game and it should run smoothly now without any frame stutters. Try it again and see if you encounter the lag.
